Ordered a falafel sandwich and got a gyro! I live in Edmond and had gotten all the way home with it, I ordered over the phone and was very clear, terrible phone service as well

Man, I am on a roll! This is the fourth of four new restaurants that are fantastic. The woman working here is an angel, our food(a Supreme Gyro for me, and a Philly Cheese steak Gyro for my mother, with a side of fried mushrooms to share) was all great. Our plates were ready and on the table I think 6-7 minutes after ordering.Athena Greek Restaurant is easy to find from the street, the layout is cozy and comfortable, and they also offer burgers if you're not feeling like a salad or gyro. And the burgers are apparently really good! The family sitting near to us said that they always come here over a traditional burger joints.In short, stop reading this and chop chop get in your car! Arriba!

Great food and friendly service. Best gyros in town, also had the Athena platter with falafel, hummus, and dolmas definitely suggest that. Will have to try the kabobs next. Great prices for what you get as well.

I've seen this place for like.. almost 20 years and never stopped by. Figure today is the day I'll give it a go and I don't regret it. Super nice staff, really affordable sandwiches/combos. Simple and clean atmosphere and wasn't busy on a weekday afternoon. Stop by and check them out!

Order was wrong and late: I called in and gave a simple order from the parking lot . two sandwiches and fries. I gave them 20 minutes and they weren't busy as I could see. They weren't ready with any of my order and I'm sure this meat is undercooked 👎

For starters the cucumber sauce is Awesome! The string fries seasoned greatly.. I have been looking for a shop that makes fries like these 😋.. Gyro or chicken gyro season recipe is Aced.. and the little lady is so pleasant thank you.. will return

Great little treasure on the south side. We both had the #1 which came with gyro meat, French fries and a salad. We also got the humus appetizer. It was all delicious and she cooked it fresh for us. We waited about 10-15 minutes for our food, and she brought it to our table. With drinks, the cost was less than $23 and we have food for lunch tomorrow!There was baklava at the counter to purchase, and I did so. It was okay, but nothing special...I’ve had and can make better.Overall, it’s a nice little eatery to visit and a good change from typical American food.The price is reasonable, and we could have actually split the dinner because we had an appetizer, too...so if you are on a date or with a friend, you could go really cheap if needed.Try it! Yummy :)

My sister and I used to come here all the time. It was her favorite place to treat me to lunch. The food is truly homemade by a little lady that goes out of her way to make sure you leave happy.

Don't get too excited. Now I got there 45 minutes before closing, but I didn't see a menu, just a board with about 8 choices, 2 meals and the rest sandwiches or burgers. They didn't even have appetizers or tabouli. I had chicken k-bobs, well one, off the skewer. The food was really good. I will go back with much lower expectations. I would call it a Greek lunch counter.

Fabulous Mediterranean cuisine! Reasonably priced with many appetizers and sides to choose from.

Their food is good however they dont offer a Gyro Sandwich with out paying for A Gyro Supreme which has olives and feta cheese on it which I dont want or won't eat. Makes no sense you have to pay for something you dont want on a sandwich...if not for that the service and food has always been good

Great gyros and hummus, and good prices too!! The Supreme gyro is damn tasty, would absolutely get it again. We'll be back!

You ain't kidding when they said small plates. I got 4 small burnt chicken pieces a greek salad, hard rice 2 little triangle's of pitas bread. Ordered a side if Persian salad for someone else and they put it in the same container as the rest of the food. How the heck can I give it to the person that wsy

The food here is great, the staff is really friendly and the whole place is clean. Really affordable prices make this one of my favorite places to take the family when we are in town. Even my tween boys had leftovers because they are so generous with serving sizes. Definitely worth a stop for a relaxed meal.

We had lunch here today for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. I had the chicken shish kabob lunch which came with a to die for salad, yogurt sauce and pita bread, rice, potatoes, and roasted veggies. The chicken was tender and perfectly seasoned. The spices are unlike anything I've ever had before - they're perfect! My husband had the Gyro sandwich with fries and he was impressed as well. We'll definitely be return customers and would highly recommend this restaurant.

Gyro supreme is always my fave the falafel was terrific and the sauce is always the best. I even took home some sauce and pita for later :)

The kabob and gyros are excellent! You simply MUST try this gem of a restaurant! The owner is friendly and REALLY KNOWS how to season the food perfectly!

Always a good experience. One of my favorite restaurants. The owner is so nice and friendly. Food is always delicious, and I love their chicken kebabs. The prices are great, especially the lunch combos. You can eat off the lunch menu here for the same price as a combo at a fast food restaurant.

I got the #1 special, gyro fries salad drink. This was the freshest gyro meat I've ever had in town. Pitas was soft and fresh. Salad was fresh and flavorful (loved the dressing). Fries were crispy and golden. Price point is unbeatable. What else can I say? This was an awesome meal. I'll be back to try the dolmas that I saw on the menu.

My rice was white rice with very little saffron rice mixed in. My beef kabob was horrible, the best comparison I can give is mc.rib meat, fried vegetables tasted like unsalted fried potatoes. When I asked about the rice she said that's how they do it. Spent $20 and will never eat there again.

Decent food at a good price, with friendly service. We visited right after lunch so it was a little messy, but not dirty. The baklava wasn't very good (tough and 'off' taste), but the gyro was a basic, yummy gyro. The Greek salad was very tasty as was the combo kabob.
